Oki Nistoo annokok Kiitsikomahkii (Thunder Woman) & my English name is Trudy Yellow Fly. I come from the Siksika Nation. I have been a board member with the Indigenous Sport Council of Alberta since 2016. I am currently a National Coach Certification Program facilitator certifying Indigenous. Over the last 15 years, I have certified over 400 coaches across Alberta, Northwest Territories and British Columbia. I am also a Master Facilitator for the Aboriginal Sport Circle (ASC); I have assisted ASC as they move to recruit more Aboriginal Coach Module learning facilitators. I have been a Team Alberta youth player, adult player, and coach for five (5) North American Indigenous Games since 1993. On a personal level, I am a mother of two sons and although I am up there in age, I am still an active athlete in golf and basketball. AS for my day job, I am the Siksika Band Designate representing children and youth in care across the country.
